INDIA- VISION2025

INDIA----VISION 2025

Dr. kalam saw a dream of developed India by 2020 though its an arduous task but we need to ponder over what made him to envisage the concept of developed India by 2020 when at the current scenario c has been plagued by poverty, unemployment, malnutrition, foeticide, corruption and venal policy makers and executers. If the great man has the dream then his countrymen should stand up for it especially the youth of India, so time is up for all the brickbats and incessant cursing of the system and its an hr. to show our mettle and bring the good deeds to the table .

As a student of an elite institute, my contribution to the vision of India-2025 is of paramount importance and so is the contribution of other privilege youth like me. As the idiom goes- charity begins at home, so, to change the face of India we need to change ourselves first. We have to show much more responsibility in day to day affairs, self centric attitude should give way to a more altruistic one. Mere mugging of books wont help, we can’t shun the ongoing affairs in our country whether its Kashmir crises or singur stalemate. We need to take a firm and tough stand against those ruffians who are sabotaging the thread of democracy and secularism and in a way derailing the economic progress simply because only a peaceful state can fast track itself on the road to development, we need to combat any kind of fundamentalism whether its muslim or hindu with an iron hand. so we need get rid of all these political woes before moving forward. The problem of illiteracy and unemployment needs to be eradicated on a war footing. Only rapid economical development can get people out of abject poverty fast, we must remember that all these economical success has come with only 10% of our population having satisfactory education(according to business today) then we must foresee our potential if 50% of our population gets decent education by 2025. Along with economic development, amelioration of social life must be expedited, we should see to it that reservation benefits gets down to the bottom, if we really wish to re-engineer social set up and bring about a change till 2025 then we should reserve seats in primary schools because providing reservations in elite colleges dilutes their intellect value and degrades their brand which India in 2025 can ill afford to do. Education sector needs to be reformed big time and public-private association must be encouraged with substantial reservation for oppressed classes. I see India at 2025 with a much better infrastructure to sustain its mammoth population, we need to work towards it and huge investments should be poured into the process, this will also create lots of employment for our restless youth. We need to revamp our agricultural sector since its current growth rate is abysmal keeping in view the dependence of 70% of our population on it, India can’t prosper unless its farmers prosper. I sincerely hope not to see any farmer suicide in 2025. How about giving a thought of our abysmal civic sense??? Traffic transgression is so common place, we love making mockery of rules and with much aplomb we call ourselves a great culture, I surmise this is hypocrisy. I hope we will get out of near anarchic system and will follow rules and regulations to witness a chaos free hassle free India by 2025. This time I was ecstatic to see India win 3 medals at Olympics but soon the point that left me pondering is how a country of over 120 crore population can be content with 3 medals???? Isn’t this a colossal under achievement??? Sports infrastructure other than cricket needs to be given a fresh lease of life, I envisage India among top 5 medal winners if we can tap and nurture our talent in sports to its optimum potential.

I see India free of poverty, unemployment, oppression. I see India as a new economic powerhouse with the thread of democracy and secularism intact giving a feeling of utopia in 2025. The promises seem huge, tasks seems improbable to some extent but the flame of desire to accomplish it has to burn in every Indian heart, which is the only way to realise the vision-2025. Lets join our hands because together we can and we will make a difference.
JAI HIND JAI BHARAT!!!!
